My women’s recreational soccer league in the bay area has been using Agiloft for several years to manage their seasonal registration and assignment of players to soccer teams based on skill levels.
Skill ratings, age, preferred positions, and so on are stored in the player (user) record. Each season, when people register, new teams are formed. Reports show the average age and skill level for each team to help make balancing the teams easier.
The system is also used to send out mass mailings announcing when registration is opened, as well as reminders just before the closing date.
An HTML report is used to post the team rosters on the league website. Excel reports are provided to each team coordinator with their players’ contact information. It can also be used by team coordinators to email subs when a game is going to be short of players.
